Haven’t posted anything on here in a while, which is a shame. Just haven’t felt all that creative lately, so imagine my surprise when this just came out of nowhere. Enjoy.

Ron F***in’ Swanson
Parks & Recreation is probably my favorite mainstream comedy on television right now. It’s got such a great big heart and all the comedy seems to stem from the idea that watching good people spend time with each other is just damn enjoyable. No one gets beat up on mercilessly for the sake of the joke. Except maybe Jerry. But even Jerry gets to win from time to time. This is a show that understands that everyone needs to win once in a while. Parks & Rec is also home to one of the best characters on television: Ron Swanson. A fiercely-independent Libertarian who has gold buried all over Pawnee (or does he?), Ron is such a manly man that there’s no man more manly than Ron. So I drew him. If you haven’t seen the show and you love good-natured (and hilarious) humor, you’d do well to seek out the first four seasons (on DVD or Netflix or wherever you can find). The fifth season is currently airing on NBC.

T’was the night before Christmas, and all through the place, Nick and I have this new comic to shove in your face!
Here is the brand-new, just completed Betsy & Waffles Christmas comic. It was a big effort on both our parts and we think you’ll enjoy it very much. And if there’s someone out there who you forgot to get a gift for, just send them a link to this comic. Quite possibly it will be the best gift they will ever get. EVER. Don’t question it.
