Day 263: Mossy
Day 78: El Rey’s Kitchen
Not much going on today, so I decided to put up another shot from my adventures in Montgomery. Here’s a quick shot of El Rey’s kitchen that I grabbed before we left. We didn’t eat a lot there, but they had good salsa and guacamole and I got to drink a delicious Chimay Blue! It’s a cool little place with old hubcaps as light fixtures. Apparently they have extra tasty burritos, but sadly I don’t know if this is true or not. Maybe one day…
Day 77: Looking for Eric
Came to Montgomery to hang out with my friend Sandi. She took me to the swanky downtown area of Cloverdale, where I snapped the photo to the right. I loved the look of this old movie theater, and I really hope they find Eric soon, wherever he is.
Also, because it’s now August 1st, that means it’s time for a new blog header. This month’s header comes from Brittany Forks, a designer friend living in Austin. Her design is a lot more literal than Nick’s exercise in insanity from last month, but I’m still digging it. Don’t forget, there’s still plenty of time for you to submit an entry to the blog header contest. Best header receives a $100 online gift certificate!
