Day 355: Telephone

“Give me just a sec. I need to make a phone call. Hello, May 17, 2011? Yeah, It’s me, Josh, on May 6, 2011. Just wanted to give you a call and tell you that I’ll see you soon.”

The end is getting close now. And yes, I realize if you do the math up there, it seems like I’ll be done on May 16 instead of on my birthday. That’s because I was so excited to get started on this blog a year ago, I jumped the gun and posted a day early. But if you think that means I’ll be stopping a day early, think again!

Day 266: Hi-Hat

Yes, this is a bar. No, I’ve never had a drink there. Maybe when I’m older, and looking to die from a serious infection, I’ll stop in and have a drink. If you’re around, you’re welcome to join. And then drive me to the hospital.

Day 261: Mushroom House

I think this place is either occupied by Smurfs or Keebler Elves.

Went to visit my friend Sandi over the weekend, so expect to see more photos from Montgomery, Ala., on here pretty soon.

Also, as you’ve no doubt noticed, because today is the start of a new month, we have a new blog header, courtesy of the talented, funny and altogether swell Nick Adams. If you’ve never visited his blog, and then his flickr and twitter accounts by extension, then you’re missing out on some quality art/comedy. Give Nick a try! I’m sure you’ll not go back to your old brand!

Speaking of twitter, I’ve added a twitter feed to the side of my blog, so feel free to click and go see what ludicrously funny things I come up. If you enjoy, please follow, though be warned that if I feel threatened by your twitter image, I might block you, so make sure it’s something soothing.

Day 252: This Old House

Some might look at this place and think it’s unserviceable, but I say just throw on a few coats of paint and whip out the weed-whacker and this place would be fit for a king. A couple hours work and a bit of elbow grease and it’s ready to move in!
