Day 270: Footbridge

A quaint footbridge in an awesome park in Montgomery, Ala. That’s all you really need to know to appreciate this picture. Okay, okay, there’s a troll underneath. There, are you happy now?

Day 269: Yo Gabba Gabba

“Yo Gabba Gabba” amazes me, due mainly to the insane hold it has on children. I can say that it’s a mesmerizing show, having seen its effect on a one-year-old while I was in Wisconsin. But honestly, if there was a show that kids obsessed over, let’s be glad it’s this one, where guests include Mos Def, Mark Mothersbaugh (from Devo) and The Shins, among others. That’s awesome. And some of the sketches make this show seem like “Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job!” for kids. That’s something I can get behind.

Day 268: Charlie, Solo

This dog is a boundless ball of energy, so it’s really surprising he stood still long enough for this photo. After the shutter snapped closed, he began barking and growling at me. He’s camera-shy, that guy.

Day 266: Hi-Hat

Yes, this is a bar. No, I’ve never had a drink there. Maybe when I’m older, and looking to die from a serious infection, I’ll stop in and have a drink. If you’re around, you’re welcome to join. And then drive me to the hospital.

Day 265: Gray Tree

Another day, another tree standing on its own. I mean, it’s standing on its own if you ignore that one sort of in the back.

Also, I now have 100 days left until I’ve completed one year’s worth of daily posts. Tomorrow, I’m back in the double digits. Exciting times. Maybe the posts will reflect that excitement, though I can’t guarantee it.
